An Enchanting Sunday at Fetcham Park

Posted on by admin

Last Sunday I had the privilege of being invited to the launch of Parallel Venues at Fetcham Park in Surrey. When I was first asked to attend, I didnt quite know what to expect. But then when my gorgeous invitation arrived in the post (made by the ever talented team at Cutture), I knew I was in for something very special. And very special it was!

As I entered the enchanting house, the beautiful Laura Caudery of Parallel Venues welcomed guests with a loving smile and open arms. We arrived to a very buzzing room filled to the brim with talented people from all parts of the wedding industry. It was great to catch up with many friends and finally meet lots of the lovely people I have connected with on Twitter but had yet to meet in person. The cocktails & champagne were flowing and we were treated to exquisite canapes by At Home Catering.

The fashion show was simply stunning! Penny from Tigerlily Weddings and Emma from Miss Bush Bridal Wear did an outstanding job of showcasing “The Sirens Collection” in a beautiful and sultry way. Dresses from Suzanne NevilleJenny PackhamJesus PeiroStephanie AllinCymbeline and Ugo Zaldi were showcased down the grand staircase which was adorned with orchids provided by the wonderful Leanne at Wild About. Suzanne Neville has a special place in my heart because it was she who designed and fitted my own wedding dress 5 years (and 3 dress sizes) ago! I’m sure I am not alone when I say my absolute favourite piece was Suzanne’s black dress which earned a huge round of applause from the guests (love the awesome skull bag by Bloomin’gayles).

All in all I had a wonderful time chatting away with great people, swooning over gorgeous dresses and soaking up the party atmosphere. Here’s sending out a huge thanks to all the talented people who made the day so fantastic. Bravo to you all!

  1. I’m so glad you enjoyed the afternoon Kim, I’m just sorry I didn’t get chance for a proper chat with you! Like you, I’m a big fan of Suzanne’s work and I’m so glad she was there to see everyone’s reaction to the black showstopper! Look forward to welcoming you back to Fetcham Park soon…. L x
